Best of Beauty
Stained fuchsia pouts commanded the runways and appeared in matte, glossy and lacquered finishes. Have fun with lipstick in a handful of strong berry pigments, but tread carefully—this trend is about precision.
Brighten your eyes with an intense brush of blue. But take a cue from the runway models at Oscar de la Renta and Dennis Basso—don't overdo the look with too much blush or lipstick.
Bring the attention back to your lips with a squeeze of fresh mandarin. The key to pulling off orange lips is to let them take center stage: At Marc Jacobs and Marni, a touch of mascara and a clean brow made this look rock.
Not So Neutral
Natural makeup is here to stay for yet another season and is, perhaps, the most efficient way to freshen your routine. Go bare with a light application of foundation, subtle bronzer, a coat of mascara and clear lipgloss.
Purple ruled the runways at Etro and Andrew Gn. Punch up your everyday look with vibrant violet, pale lilac or a soft, smoky lavender that universally flatters.
