The Style Evolution of Taylor Swift

It seems like over night the 20 year old singer took over our radios and televisions with her sweet country-pop tunes. Taylor has exploded onto the music scene with her smash hits You Belong With Me and Fifteen, and she shows no sign of slowing down. Since her early years in front of the camera we have seen her grow up, and her style transform. Check out the style evolution of Taylor Swift.
  1. A New Contender
Teen country star Taylor Swift, made an appearance at the November 2007 AMA awards in this all black rhinestone dress. She topped her outfit off with a pair of opaque leggings and black cowboy boots. Since it's not the CMT Awards, she should have gone with something that was not so country.

2.Golden Flare
Showing off a softer side, Taylor Swift attended the February 2008 Grammy pre-party. Her gold dress and strappy sandals were very age appropriate, but gave her a sophisticated young look.

3.Ready For The Prom?
Attending her first Grammy awards in February 2008, Taylor Swift looked nice in a beaded purple Sandi Spikka gown. Although she looked cute it looked like she was ready for her high school prom. Being that it's the Grammys she could of had a bit more fun with her gown, and gone with something that was more playful.

4.A Winner
Taylor Swift attends the April 2008 CMT awards in this simple yet bold colored dress. The dress gathers and falls in the front, which created a nice silhouette. The young singer also performed on the show, and even picked up the award for Best Female Video for her hit single Our Song. The 18-year old singer could barely believe she won.

5.Blushing In Badgley
Taylor showed off her elegant style at the May 2008 MET Gala. The country singer paired her Badgley Mischka gold and bronze ombre sequin and crystal fishtail frock with the designer’s clutch, jewels, and heels.

6.Greek Inspired
Taylor Swift chose a long Grecian dress that looked elegant and age appropriate at this May 2008 award show. She has a tendency to wear gowns that look a little prom like, but this dress looked both young and chic, and hit exactly the right note. Swift won the best new female vocalist award at the ceremony.

7. Glamour Girl
Taylor channeled a very grown-up look by wearing a simple black gown to the November 2008 Glamour awards. This dress looked so comfy you could probably sleep in it.

8.. A Star Arrives
Taylor Swift shined in a sequin and crystal Kaufman Franco gown, with Christian Louboutin shoes and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz at the November 2008 CMA awards. She decided against wearing jewelry to allow the dress to shine, which was a wise choice.

9. Fearless
Taylor Swift sparkled in a black Collette Dinnagin black-and-white dress at the February 2009 Grammy salute party. The Fearless female completed her outfit with Christian Louboutin peep toe heels, a Jimmy Choo bag and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Taylor also preformed her hit single "Fifteen", with gal pal Miley Cyrus.

10. Country Cutie
Taylor hits the red carpet at the February 2009 Grammy Awards, wearing a Jersey Dress from Kaufman Franco with wrap around patent leather strapping. Taylor finished off her look with Rene Caovilla shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels

11. She's A Winner
Taylor had a big night at the Country Music Television Awards in June 2009. She picked up an award for video of the year and female video of the year for her hit "Love Story". Her sequined cocktail dress was a nice change from her usual long gowns, and it looked like a retro flapper dress.

 12.. Entertainer Of The Year
Taylor Swift opened the show with a winning performance at the November 2009 CMA awards. The 19-year-old singer had to wait until the end of the show to collect the biggest honor, entertainer of the year. There's no doubt that Taylor looked absolutely beautiful in this gold sequined gown, and she has definitely had a show stopping year. This is only the beginning for the young star, and there's no telling where her career and style will take us next.

  13.Blue is the one
Taylor Swift sparkles at the 2010 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 20-year-old singer wore a stunning Kaufman Franco dress, jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

 14.Marchesa+Taylor=EPIC
Taylor Swift created an epic moment at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards tonight, by walking the red carpet without a single sequin nor jewel embellishment on her gown. Taylor is up for many award tonight. In fact they go head-to-head in many categories. The teen singing sensation looked divine floating down the red carpet wearing a lavender Marchesa Spring 2010 gown. This gown is breath-taking from the embroidered details to the long flowing train.

 15. You make me Crazier
Taylor Swift dropped jaws in a red strapless Monique Lhuillier gown at the CMA 2010 Awards at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 10. At the event on Thursday, Swift wore a custom gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, draped waist and a thigh high split. She accessorized with nude Jimmy Choo strappy heels, and Neil Lane jewels: leaf earrings and a bracelet in her right arm.Her hair was styled straight and tied in a loose chignon with peek-a-boo bangs. Swift let her breathtaking attire be the focus of attention by toning down her makeup, using subtle blush and pink-peach lipstick; a departure from her signature scarlet lipstick and smoky eyes.

Leighton Meester Covers 'Seventeen' February 2011

Leighton Meester looks gorgeous in a Spring Versus dress on the cover of Seventeen’s February issue, on newsstands January 4.
Here’s what the 24-year-old Gossip Girl and Country Strong star had to share with the mag:
On if she still feels having a boyfriend isn’t a priority: “I would say the same thing today as well. [But] I think that the importance of love is really strong for me in my life, whether it’s a guy or a friend or just my puppy. I think love changes you over time, and whether you have good or bad experiences, you always grow and learn from it.”
On friendship: "The way I become friends with somebody is a slow process. You can't just spill your guts and tell them everything about yourself and expect them to listen and understand you because you don't know them. It's the same thing with a relationship."

On learning from heartbreak: "I think you have to know how you feel when you're sad and it's healthy to mourn if a relationship ends. You should go through a period where you experience that feeling instead of fighting against it all the time and saying, 'No I want to be happy,' because that's not healthy. As much as I don't want sad or bad things to happen to me, it's given me a lot of material for my work, so it's good."

On starting a family: “I want a family someday and I know that I have to let love in to create that and I think there is someone out there for me, but I’m not on some crazy hunt for that right now.”

On her new music: “I’m working with a band right now, doing a lot of acoustic music through singing and writing. It’s really fun and fulfilling. It’s an expression of what I have in my life and what I’m going through, or what I have gone through, and of course, it’s mostly about love or relationships.”
FYI: In the inside pic, Leighton is wearing a Chris Benz jacket, Nicholas Kirkwood for Prabal Gurung shoes, and Milly shorts and top.

Supermodel Off the Clock

There is something so fascinating about seeing one of the world's most beautiful people when she's off her guard. Kate Moss, too, is human.

The Cig-Scowl

Little-known fact: Moss has mastered the art of talking and smoking at once.
Blinking or Trashed?  To quote the photo agency that captured this picture, "Kate looked a little worse for wear."
Even Models Photograph Poorly Sometimes
What's strange: even mid-gesticulation, it's still apparent why Kate Moss is a supermodel. And yes, that is a penis pendant on her neck.

The Style Evolution of Natalie Portman!!!

Since making her acting debut at the tender age of 13, Natalie Portman has evolved into a graceful public figure. Though Natalie isn't afraid to take the occasional fashion risk, she tends to rely on her favorite label—Rodarte, Dior and Lanvin—to achieve her signature feminine aesthetic. Check out Natalie as she transforms from the girl next door into a true red carpet sensation.
   Fresh Faced
In 2004, a fresh-faced Natalie Portman charmed the red carpet wearing a sunny yellow frock. She paired the summery dress with metallic heels and a sweet curly updo.
Sweet in Purple
Later that year, Natalie showed her more mature side in purple lingerie-inspired Derek Lam. The low-cut chiffon dress was kept youthful thanks to Natalie's unfussy hairstyle and natural makeup.
  Grecian Goddess
Natalie Portman looked like a goddess at the 2005 Academy Awards in a low-cut silver chiffon Lanvin gown. A glimmering Fred Leighton headband added to the Grecian vibe.
Modern Day Audrey Hepburn
Natalie looked downright demure in a 50's inspired updo at the Yves Saint Laurent store. A white Lanvin shift dress and petite evening bag lent themselves perfectly to Natalie's retro vibe.
Cutting Edge Appeal
Natalie showed a more daring side in a controversial Rodarte Spring 2008 dress. The blue panelled lace dress drew mixed reviews—some compared it to curtains, while others praised it for its avant-garde feel.

Lanvin Lover
At the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, a sophisticated Natalie donned a purple Lanvin dress. She paired the gorgeous ruffled frock with black pumps, an oversize clutch and 20's inspired pin curls, for a truly feminine look.

Knit One, Pretty Too
Natalie dared to be different on the red carpet in an unexpected sheer knit Rodarte Dress. She elevated the unique look with statement making satin pumps adorned with playful pom poms.
Pretty in Pink
A radiant Natalie turned heads at the 2009 Academy Awards in a pink chiffon Rodarte gown. The lovely hue of the dress complemented Natalie's glowing skin, while its strapless cut flattered her petite frame.
Bold Jewel Tones
Natalie Portman made a bold color statement at a screening of Brothers wearing a ruffled Jason Wu dress. She accessorized the purple dress with a turquoise belt, yellow clutch and purple Aldo heels, for an undeniably high impact look.
Lady in Red
Natalie Portman once again turned to Lanvin for an eye-catching red carpet look at the New York City Ballet Gala. She wore the two-tone chiffon dress with a crystal-embellished belt, and her signature low-maintenance hair

Rodarte Romance
Natalie Portman relies upon a handful of tried and true designers to provide her with stunning red carpet looks. For the Venice premiere of Black Swan, Natalie wore Rodarte's Claret Gown. The stunning Swarovski embellished tulle gown was a jawdropping red carpet choice.
Demure in Dior
Natalie looked angelic at a November red carpet event in a chiffon Christian Dior dress embroidered with delicate flowers. Natalie gave her winter white look sparkle with tasteful Ivanka Trump jewelry. Once again, Natalie proved that when it comes to hair and makeup, less is often so much more.
High Drama
Natalie took a much darker turn at the New York City red carpet premiere of Black Swan in a dramatic black Christian Dior dress. Deep red lipstick popped against her porcelain skin, while Olympia Le-Tan's book-shaped Lolita clutch added to the gothic romance of her look.
