Best Dressed at the Critics' Choice Awards 2011

The Critics' Choice Awards are like a pre-game party for the Golden Globes: The stars get dressed up, but save the big glamour for later on. Some celebs nailed the dressed down look while others got a little confused about what to wear. Check out the best and worst dressed of the night!
Mila Kunis in Nina Ricci
Mila Kunis was perfectly pretty in a black tiered mini dress by Nina Ricci. The sassy frock featured a corseted lace back and asymmetric hem. Mila paired her dress with ballet-inspired satin sandals and a black box clutch.

Hailee Steinfeld in Marchesa
True Grit darling Hailee Steinfeld looked like she was having a great time in a pretty cream Marchesa cocktail dress which featured the brand's signature detailing. Hailee stuck with a neutral palette for the night with a gold box clutch and tan peep toe booties.

Eva Mendes in Valentino
Eva Mendes was her usual sexy self with a black lace-detailed Valentino mini dress. The nude lining on the dress was a tease, but the overall effect was subtle and classy.

Amber Rose
Despite the Critics' Choice's relatively casual atmosphere, Amber Rose took the award show look seriously in a full-on black ballgown. The strapless dress hugged her famous curves before flaring into a sea of tulle. Amber accessorized with matching gold pearl jewelry.

Julianne Moore in Roland Mouret
Julianne Moore's minimalist Roland Mouret dress was simple yet sexy with a daring deep neckline and knot detailing at the hips. Julianne paired her dress with black satin sandals.

Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman's navy dress with black ruffle detailing featured the slim silhouette and minimalist design Nicole is fond of. It wasn't exciting, but the color contrasted nicely with Nicole's skin tone.

 Emma Stone in Balenciaga
Emma Stone chose a silver Balenciaga gown with gold chain detailing. Emma looked good, but the ensemble would have been more impactful if she had red hair.

Elle Fanning in Valentino Couture
Elle Fanning looked darling in a girly Valentino Couture frock. Once again, she took a high end designer, made it her own and completely age-appropriate. Bravo!

Keri Hilson
Keri Hilson chose a super-short black balloon hem dress, but the real drama was in her shoes—whoah mama! There was a lot going on with her gold pumps including pearls, lace and texture. The party was definitely on Keri's feet!

Lala Vazquez
Lala Vazquez glammed up in a white Grecian gown as she played host on the red carpet. She paired her frock with diamond jewelry and a sculpted updo.
